Cycling marches in Spain 2026

Spain runs dozens of cycling marches every year. From classics with over thirty editions to new events finding their place. This is the live calendar of every march we cover, with the piece the organization does not always give you, race day weather.

Each entry carries the wind forecast for the event date, a comparison with past editions, downloadable GPX per variant and a direct link to the official website. We prioritize marches close in date so the forecast is actually useful.

By region

North (Basque Country, Navarre, Aragon, Cantabria, Asturias, La Rioja)

Marches with Atlantic climate and the Pyrenees. Variable wind, mild temperatures, real chance of rain almost any month. Here wind forecast is not a luxury, it decides whether you ride at all.

Catalonia, Valencia, Madrid, Galicia

Very different conditions among them. Tramuntana in the Empordà, ábrego in Madrid, humidity in Galicia. Each one needs its wind data read carefully before you leave.

South, Levante and Canary Islands

Marches with heat, coastal thermal wind and strong seasonality. In the Canaries the trade winds rule. In Andalusia and Levante, poniente or levante wind can flip the day.

Rest

The rest that do not fit the groups above. Castile and León, western Aragon, Castile-La Mancha.

The cycling march season in Spain

Most marches run between March and October. Winter ones happen in the south or the Canary Islands where the climate holds. March, April, May and June are the peninsular high months, with reasonable temperatures and long days. July and August slow down due to heat, except in mountain regions. September and October fill the calendar again. Each march has its date pattern that the organization tends to respect year over year. As soon as they announce the exact date, the entry updates.
